DUTIES

• Customer check-in

• Operate the 14 passenger electric bike

• Navigate and safely load and unload passengers

• Supervise the pedal bike at all times during tour

• Create a fun and safe atmosphere

• Assist with set up and breakdown between each tour

REQUIREMENTS

All applicants:

• Must be age 21 or over

• Must have 10 years of driving experience

• Must pass mandatory drug screenings

• Must have a valid Alaska Driver’s License with a clean driving record

• Must pass a criminal background check

• Must know the Downtown Anchorage operating area well and be familiar with Anchorage and Alaska history, anecdotes, fun facts and activities to do in Anchorage and surrounding areas.

WHO ARE WE SEEKING

• Candidates who can speak to customers in a polite, firm and calm tone to convey information and are able to remain patient and professional when communicating with our customers.

• Candidates who are able to enforce the Pedal Anchorage zero tolerance policies to keep themselves and our customers safe.

• Candidates with service industry or tour guide experience a plus.

• Candidates experienced driving a large vehicle. 

• Candidates with a career but who want a summer side gig and flexible schedule (Ex: Educators, Stay at home caregivers, Restaurant service industry, Customer service industry, Tourism industry, Sales industry, Military, Retiree, etc.)
